Scholarship AnnouncementApplications are being accepted through February 28, 2025 for one of two fellowship opportunities -- Tibetree-Tibet / Cheezheng Acupuncture Research Fellowship and Zhongke Health International Acupuncture Research Fellowship. Note: We will continue accepting applications beyond the deadline for reduced-registration rate fellowships, but travel stipends are no longer available. ABOUT SAR’s CONFERENCE SAR's 2025 conference is designed to be an innovative event that attracts a global audience of acupuncture researchers, practitioners, educators, students, policy makers, and others with an interest in evidence-based acupuncture. The 2025 conference program will contain multiple plenary lectures that will directly address current basic, clinical, and translational research in acupuncture. The program will also include workshops and presentations of original research, in acupuncture and allied traditional East Asian modalities, including clinical trials; basic science; and research methodology, which will be presented by members of the national and international research communities as oral and poster presentations. A limited number of partial scholarship (registration fee reduced to $250) and travel awards are available to assist junior practitioners/researchers and students in attending the event by helping to offset expenses related to the conference. (Notes: For those who are awarded travel reimbursements, up to $500 USD travel reimbursements will be mailed out within 3 weeks following the event once we receive your travel receipts. You must request a reimbursement form at the conference registration desk, which should accompany your receipts so that we know where to send payment. If you reside outside of the U.S., please note that on your application so that we can make alternative reimbursement arrangements by bank wire transfer.) One year of SAR membership is included as part of awarded fellowships.
